A pleasing quartz "japan-law twin" crystal is surrounded by other quartz crystals. There a few minute, white rhombohedral carbonate crystals and negative quartz growths enclosed in the japan-twin. The material is from the PC Mine, Cataract District, Jefferson County, Montana, USA. The overall dimensions of the piece are 7.9 cm wide by 4.9 cm tall and 6.6 cm front to back. The crystal tips have minor nicks.
