Sharply terminated, orange-brown vanadinite crystals have grown on contrasting matrix. One area has casts of vanadinite after calcite. The faces of the crystals have low-medium luster. The piece is from the Cook's Orebody, Level 4, San Antonio Mine, Santa Eulalia, Chihuahua, Mexico. The overall dimensions are 9.7 cm wide by 7.5 cm tall and 3.9 cm front to back. There is some damage to the tips at the edges of the matrix.
