Bright, brick red to clear zoned calcite crystals rest on a bed of druzy calcite crystals. The red is caused by rich inclusions of disseminated hematite. The locality is Santa Eulalia, Municipio de Aquiles Serdán, Chihuahua, Mexico. The piece measures overall 13 cm wide by 19 cm tall and is 10 cm front to back. This material has not been available in quantity for several years. Piece is in good condition with very minor bruising on a few crystals.
