Hemimorphite and Calcite Crystals, Ojuela Mine, Mapimi, Mexico

A dark reddish-brown matrix is host to translucent hemimorphite blades and small, shiny calcite scalenohedrons. The specimen is from the Ojuela Mine, Mapimi, Durango, Mexico. The overall dimensions are 11 cm wide by 9.3 cm tall by 5.5 cm front to back. There are a couple bruised crystals at the edge of the piece.
