Calcite over Danburite, Charcas, Mexico

This is an interesting piece in which beautiful and lustrous white calcite has formed over danburite, creating an aesthetically pleasing display specimen. The locality for this piece is the Rey y Reyna Mine, Charcas, San Luis Potosi, Mexico. The overall dimensions of this piece are 6.5 cm wide by 7.2 cm tall and 5.3 cm front to back. A great piece for the 360 degree collector as it is complete all the way around.
