Calcite Crystals, San Martin, Mexico

This is an interesting calcite specimen, created by translucent, tabular crystals. The faces of the crystals have a good luster. The overall dimensions of the piece are 6.5 cm wide by 5.7 cm tall and 3.6 cm front to back. The locality is the San Martin Mine, Somberete, Zacatecas, Mexico. There is some chipping to a few crystal tips, but it does not distract from the overall appearance of the piece.
