Dark blue azurite crystals sit on a malachite and tenorite (?) matrix. There are minute cerussite crystals on the azurite and matrix as well. The faces of the crystals have fair luster. The locality for this is Shilu Mine, Yangchun, Guangdong Province, China. The overall dimensions of the piece are 13 cm wide by 7.5 cm tall and 6 cm front to back. There is evidence of bruising along the edges and at least one of the spot in the center.
