Description

This smoky quartz cluster has been overgrowth of clear quartz to create the phantom. The locality is the Orange River, Namaqualand, Northern Cape Province, South Africa. The overall dimensions of the specimen are 18 cm wide by 15 cm tall by 8.5 cm front to back. There are a few chipped crystals around the edges of the piece and a few of the crystals show damage.
